Hotel Akena Poitiers Nord Futuroscope, Chasseneuil-du-Poitou

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. However, the dining experience was basic with limited choices. The location is convenient for an overnight stop, and the hotel is close to restaurants. The facilities were satisfactory, but the price could be better for the value offered.

My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing overall. The rooms were old-fashioned with no air conditioning, and cleanliness was a major issue. The staff was unhelpful, making it difficult to change rooms despite the poor conditions. On the positive side, the hotel did provide hot water and recommended nearby restaurants.

I was very pleased with the size of the rooms and the incredibly comfortable bed. It was a bonus to have a kettle and teabags provided. Unfortunately, the room intended for disabled guests was not up to standard, with filthy conditions including blood and other stains. The staff was unhelpful, denying a room change request. On the upside, I appreciated that a 5th person could stay in the room using existing beds.
